As a reminder from our earlier blog, the Maryland Comptroller launched Maryland Tax Connect on February 6, 2024. Maryland Tax Connect is intended to be a self-service portal that will allow taxpayers to complete important functions online, such as making online payments and filing certain returns, among other uses.
The Maryland Comptroller began mailing Welcome Letters to business taxpayers this month, allowing them to link their tax accounts to their portal using the PIN provided in the letter. Be aware that the PIN has an expiration date. We encourage businesses receiving a letter and PIN to create a Maryland Tax Connect account and to use the PIN to link your accounts to your profile before the expiration date.
