LARRY BORMEL

Larry P. Bormel is the President and CEO of Bormel, Grice and Huyett, P.A. Larry has been with the firm since 1978 and his responsibilities include firm development, business and personal tax and financial planning.
Larry graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Larry is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Baltimore/Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce, Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber Foundation and of the Laurel Regional Hospital Foundation. He also is currently a member of the Howard Hospital Foundation’s Corporate Giving Committee. He is a past board member of the Citizens National Bank and the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation. He has also served as member of the Management of an Accounting Practice Committee of the Maryland Association of CPA’s.

Larry and his wife Barbara reside in Clarksville. They have three children and two grandchildren all of whom were born at Howard County Hospital!
