Experienced Accounting & Audit Professional

We are currently seeking a full-time Financial Statement Auditor/Accountant

(Level: Senior to Manager/above)

Strong candidates will possess:

  • BA/BS in Accounting (required)

  • Minimum 5 years public accounting experience in audit and/or accounting services

  • CPA or working toward obtaining CPA

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

  • Adept at analyzing financial information, identifying issues, and recommending solutions

  • Proficiency with audit and accounting software (preferably CCH Engagement, Knowledge Coach, QuickBooks or similar)

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Hard-worker, dedicated, self-motivated

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide staff and/or managerial level support in planning, performing, and reviewing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse client base.

  • Lead or support fieldwork, including testing internal controls, performing substantive procedures, and documenting audit findings.

  • Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other applicable frameworks.

  • Assist clients with accounting matters, including reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and year-end closing procedures.

  • Identify and communicate audit issues, risks, and proposed solutions to partners and clients.

  • Collaborate with partners on technical research, development of audit strategies, and resolution of complex accounting matters.

  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service delivery.

  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff.
